Company

History

In 1998, Martin Gabler founded surf, which specialises in the aesthetic modelling of surfaces in Ingolstadt. In 2003, the company moved to Wettstetten into its own company building, which houses an integrated design studio. In 2007, Modec GmbH was founded to complement and round off the process chain at am surf. In 2009, Modec GmbH was renamed modelltechnik gmbh.

Now with four locations, am surf employs over 70 dedicated employees. This development reflects not only the continuous growth, but also the ongoing adaptation to the requirements of the industry and the demand for quality and innovation.

1998
